Yup, Boxing Day 1997 was the first time it was played in anger. I actually met Robert Lindsay at a party a few years back and even then he said 'they're not still playing that are they?'. I can't stand it, faux ****ney tones, turgid rhythms, total inability to get the thing co-ordinated, seems to be a 'forced tradition' but, worst of all, it constantly reminds me of Birmingham at home in 'that' season when the tune was still playing while Cameron Jerome banged the ball in the net after 40 something seconds.

The short time we had White Riot was my fave 'walk on' but they pulled it after a few months - guessing someone got told it was a bit naughty, nothing like.

    Clement had a dream
    To manage our football team
He had no money so we signed some players on loan
    We play from the back
    With Chris in attack

Depressing that. Not sure which is worse...that it's really seventeen years or that we've been running out to that awful, uninspirational dirge for so long. Time for a change...Dambusters anyone?
