    Rob Green

What you guys think about bringing in Rob Green from QPR,who has helped them to promotion from the SkyBet Championship twice and has the quality and experience to get the best out of the defence and keep good clean sheets as he was the SkyBet Championship GK of the season twice during their 2 promotions from the SkyBet Championship?

Welcome nice to have another new face!

Ah yes the guy who almost singlehandly stopped the Rams from winning the playoff final, a very good goalkeeper, but why would QPR let him go? His wages would eb high and if he were to move it would be more likely another london club or lower premier league side.

Just look at Brad Friedel he played on till he was in his 40's and was still fighting fit and one of the top GK in the Premier League at his time. Age doesn't matter because GK's play on longer then any outfielder's play throughout their footballing career. Rob Green is a fantastic GK for the championship and like i said he helped QPR to promotion twice and i shaw as hell think he has a lot more left in the tank to go on another promoted assault with us. QPR have a lot of debt with being relegated twice from the Premier League so if we do make an offer for him it will help them to get rid off some of their debts that they have.

40k a week well if we are aiming to get in the Premier League we will be paying those sort of wages so we better start sooner or later.

I would like to see Roos given a chance as number 1. I don't think Green would want to sit on the bench.

Rob Green would not be sitting on the bench he would be making room for Lee Grant as he has more fight and willing to get in on the action and help his team on towards victory and act as a team leader. Lee Grant was a flop last season who couldn't clear set peices for life and was always sitting on his goal line rather then coming out to collect the ball and get in on the action. Well doesn't matter any how as we got Scott Carson, who was far worse then Lee Grant was last season in the championship and he has really come in to sit on the bench and warm up and make the sub bench in tip top shape.
