He stayed at Derby 22 months or so. Of those i firmly believe he was engineering a move away for several months, or at very least 'keeping his options open'. I am not knocking him for that, but lets not kid ourselves, he has no loyalty.

In the end it was his failure to stop the slump that finished him off, not that I'm bothered, but ti will be interesting to see how the "Toon Army" respond, this must be his last chance at the "big time"!

Agree with you about loyalty in football and 'his last chance at the big time'. Can't see how you don't think he probably 'engineered' the move though.
He ends up at a club he's linked with for almost half a season and promptly announces this is the j

You really are the most vacuous poster ever, read back your inane nonsense, you contradict yourself over and over.
But at least your ITK

I'm having a debate with a poster and in you come with your petty insults, have you nothing better to do?
Its posters like you that drive people away from this board.
As for being ITK, you seem obsessed as if it bothers you.As it happens I do know someone who works at the club who is in a position to know, however they are quite circumspect about what they do say for obvious reasons.
IF I'm told something and IF its OK to do so I post what I'm told, most of the time its merely confirmation, but occasionally as you'd know if you'd been around long enough its unknown.
Personally I'm not bothered if you or anyone else believes that
Bit harsh woolwhacker. I don't always agree with swale, that's the point isn't it, but I've certainly never found him to be 'vacuous' or 'inane' and he has got more predictions right than some.Originally Posted by woolwhacker
Anyway, back to the question. I think the answer is 4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1 depending on the way the game is going but he was never very good at that bit :-S
