Make of that what you will. It does seem weird how we've suddenly decided we're satisfied for the time being. I know I put too much faith in him, but I don't see the point in him making up a load of tripe when his credibility would be at stake? Sure it would shift a few copies of papers but if he gets this so completely wrong (as it's looking at the moment) then he as a source will just go completely out the window. Either way we'll have to wait and see. As I said on a previous post, Steve Nicholson has denied rumours publicly and then told me in person that we actually were signing him.

One other person who was there said it got the impression it could be tomorrow. It was just stated clearly that it wouldn't be today.

Which makes sense seeing as though Shackell isn't in this country.

I believe so. I' 100% sure it's happening, but the one time i lump on, i'll be wrong. I tried to when Ince's wife started following DCFC and Weimann and Shackell's wives, but SKYBET had already suspended bets.

My guess, is that they have all gone house hunting/looking at the local area together. Then followed each other on Twitter. Shackell has a year left...if we were to buy him out of that year (buys himself out with our money) then would that intention stop us from talking to him? Burnley will know it will be a legal nightmare and take time to complete, so are holding out for a slightly bigger fee than the buy out s worth. Or they are waiting on signing a CB to appease the fans.
