Your right Alf we had a good chance on breaking the top 6 last season especially in comparison how we finished the season before
Gary bowyer is a stability manager which this season we are going to be very glad to have him in charge
rough times ahead and will be until the transfer ban is lifted

All quiet on the venkys front again.. Have they disappeared up their own @rseholes?
If we hadn't been one of the only clubs in the division (the other two are bigger and finished well below us, one, Forest speant much more than us)with an embargo, than I'd agree. As it was we spent the majority of the season unable to add anything to a squad that hadnt been good enough at any point in the past to go up. Unsure what real chance we had? Did you miss the embargo? You mustve been off in your caravan??

No embargo at little old Burnley and they achieved promotion twice. They get stronger and stronger as we get weaker and weaker.

We won the premier league a little town club
Believe me that grates on the money hungry FA
Now they have a chance to have massive implications caused to the club who for years annoyed them
Of course they would select another team so it didn't arouse suspicion forest would be that team
Quite a few clubs will of broke the rules of ffp last season have they been punished of course not
I understand to comply you must be able to be self sustainable for a season
How many did this last season?don't ask the FA

That will certainly get Alfs undivided attention then

In all honesty though, if GB was representing BFC I am fairly certain that Alfs take on him could be quite different.

It is fine for us to 'comment' over GB (good, or not so good), but for 'outsiders' its well - just banter

Seems to me he's already making all the excuses under the sun before the season starts. Perhaps he's beginning to Despair ...Despair.
