Have they let him out of the mad house yet?![]()
Know nothing about either but the french leagues are pretty decent to find untapped talent.. Good move Mr bowyer imo..
How in one sentence can someone proclaim to have no idea about something/somebody and in the next seatence have an opinion on them . LMAO.
How can a poster spend all his time on a message board picking holes in one other particular posters comments while contributing nothing football related at all..? Lmao .
I agree with Needle ! - view external link
GB's comments about Furman and Coke were interesting.
Either he was just being polite, or it really did come down to being able to choose only one of the three. If the latter, it must be telling that he picked the least tested and experienced, Petshi.
This seems like a gamble, but Bowyer's track-record on such signings is reasonable.
Petshi seems to have been used predominantly as a defensive/ball-winning midfielder. I assume Koita is going to be used mainly as a winger. He is right-footed but has played on the left quite often.
This gives us the following situation in midfield:
Defensive - Lowe, Williamson, Lenihan
Up-and-Down - Evans, Petshi
Wide - Marshall, Conway, Taylor, Koita
Central Attacking/Creative - O'Sullivan
(I have not counted Thomson and Mahoney).
To be honest (or pessimistic) that still leaves a hole for me (the one occupied by Tugay and Dunn in the past). Either O'Sullivan will have to make a giant leap forward, or there is someone else in the wings. We are probably l
Think kim is weighing up his options. If it boils down to money, he'll go elsewhere..
You're probably right, JR.Originally Posted by jordan12rhodes

If he did sign, my guess is that we would be happier to let Gestede go (on financial grounds, I mean).
We would then probably start the season with a line-up such as:
Steele
Henley Hanley Kilgallon Olsson
Marshall Lowe Bo-Kyung Evans Conway
Rhodes.
Of course, it would more likely look like this:
Steele
Henley Hanley Kilgallon Olsson
Lowe Evans
Marshall Bo-Kyung Conway
Rhodes.
I'm not saying this is my preferred XI, but I am not sure GB would throw the youngsters in from the start.

I think its mor GB keeping his squad options open.
Some Premier clubs maybe willing to loan out the odd player come towards the end of the window so maybe best to keep one or two squad places available rather than fill upto our full quota.
Also the two lads brought if they make the grade could maybe be worth more if we want/need to sell on in the future.
