I see Burnley have signed that lunatic thug Barton.
He wanted to join West Ham but the fans made it clear they did not want him.
Are you happy to have him ?

I hope he does not tarnish the good of your club Alf by his thug behavior on and off the pitch.

Aye that's right les, I must have dreamt about meeting the Dortmund, Aalborg, Sevilla and Copenhagen fans who had not only heard of us but loved the fact that such a small club (which we are, as are you) was not only in the pl but giving it a right go. Small club, big heart was mentioned, love that!
I have to disagree with Alf and Dazzy on this, I think he's the perfect signing. I know where Alf is coming from, but he's kept a clean slate over the last few years and we both know how much we are crying out for a central midfielder. His attributes are ideal for us.
Another point to make is that we are such a 'nice' side. We haven't had an enforcer since Kevin Ball, and he was at the end of his career. We haven't had a player the opposition (in general, there are always specific clubs for certain players) hates since Ted McMinn, and I think it'll bring the squad and supporters closer together. One for all and all that.
At the end of the day though, the signing of Barton improves
