Totally disagree with Ramboy I think you need re define the term "true supporter" with "materiistic glory hunters".

Any true supporter of the game would be repulsed at what's gone on. Look how many in here were spitting feathers at QPR just over a year ago and a few weeks ago at FFP. But now hypocracy and double standards are rife .... It's more than laughable.

And yes they owners have put it on the line .... IMO the future of the club even if it does work out!!!

It's obscene and not part of the sport it should be. Your comments just show it's about money and glory hunting now and no longer a sport!

When in Rome, do as the Roman's do...................... Or finish up in the third or fourth tier of English football.

Rattea for gods sake man - It's PROFESSIONAL sport. You could go back to 1908 and say exactly the same things, money is ruining the game etc.

Materialistic glory hunter! Stone the crows!

Well done Evans, Rush and Morris??? 3 guys who came into a club well on the up. While I do not wish to sound ungrateful at all to Mr. Morris, and I most certainly mean that. I think you show MASSIVE disrespect to the likes of Brett Wilson who evened us out financially, and used prudent financial investment to right the wrongs from the previous decade of mismanagement. Who rebuilt an entire club, restoring solid foundations for our academy which has churned out the likes of Hughes, Hendrick and now Hanson, with Bennett and Thomas still knocking around.

I see the crowds have improved for the big signings, but what about the supporters who stuck with the club when we had little to shout about. This current spending is only here due to the financial dealings of the current board, make no mistake.

I am getting a bit peeved at everyone thinking Morris and Rush are heroes!

Don't believe that by offering his gratitude for what's happened in the transfer window that ramboy has in anyway shown disrespect to anyone chili. Agree with you that the diehard fans deserve respect and Brett Wilson - amongst others - too, but just at the moment it seems fair to suggest that MM and SR have been the prime movers. Not sure about Evans, not clear about his role now we only seem to be targeting established 'names'.

Chris - We are not 'beating FFP' we are 'working within FFP rules'. There is a huge difference.

Is in excess of £20m. For wage purposes add Bent, Baird, Pearce etc.

Chris: yes we are writing cost off over contract periods (may or may not be 4 years). But this year we have last 3 years purchases to write off a share of. Next 3 years we will have remaining 15m to bury in addition to next year's spending... we are on the roundabout now and can't get off.

    Wages? I hate to think.

I'm beginning to sound like a rat here: not intending to ********* on the party, but my bladder is fit to burst.

I agree Roger - firstly the wage implication bothers me more than the transfer fee, we would hope that some (at least) of those fees might be clawed back with resale at some point in the future, although there are no guarantees. But heaven knows what the wage commitment is now.

And I'm also trying not to pour cold water onto the burning flames of enthusiasm - it all might work out in the end (and I b
