"Roger – save your keystrokes. We want wise words of business expertise from you, not silly squabble. Merely send him to his bedroom"

Speak for yourself - I want a silly squabble...fight, fight, fight, fight, fight :-).

The intellectual mis-matches never end well for him.

Hahaha Roger you talk a lot of *********!!!! He was owner and that is a fact and the only reason you dismiss it is because you miss him that's why and the club would be better off in his position then Mel Morris. Have a look at yourself in the mirror old chap and retire in an old people's home where you belong.

I approach this with caution, the Americans were designed to run sports teams, making our club secure under them. That said, if Mel does things right, there's nothing better than a true fan owning the club. Lets hope things all pan out well this season, I fear they may need to...If we don't go up, and if Mel throws more money at it, he'll see his fortune slowly dwindle. Lets all pull together this season and get behind the club, chairman, manager and players, more so than ever, as this could be our most important season for a fair few year...

Oh dear...toys out of the pram time.

Anyway, back in the real world...good explanation CR...think you should join Roger and Rattea on the panel of economic experts. You could be the more tolerant one, though God knows, RR's patience has been tested this morning ;-) .

I've just seen a few clips from MMs interviews, albeit RamsPlayer and its 'house' bias, but I must say, what a clever, clever ********* MM is. You don't get £500+ million on your portfolio without being a clever, clever *********.

    We're in safe hands.

I would really love all interviews with Mel carried out with journalists all at a lower lever and sat on chairs that make a farting noise when people get up or sit down. Mel can say repeatedly that he never got where he was today by...........

I'm sure I met him years ago... I have a vague recollection that he owned an IT company called minitec and he built the Mickleover Court Hotel....I worked for a builders and plumbers merchants as a manager and my director was dating his assistant!? at the time. We supplied a fair bit of bathroom equipment and I went to an opening event of some description and chatted to a guy that looked a lot like him.
