I didn't watch all of it (kept checking in the hope he'd give Johnny a run out), but the was a poor performance all round - Strachan needs to grow a pair and pick his best team against Germany (rather than those with the highest number of caps/biggest reputations) or ROI will be in the Euros instead of the jocks...

The sweaties are a poor side and habitual bottlers, a bit like England in tournaments but at least we do generally get there. The home nations inc Rep Ireland are a poor bunch but hope Wales make at as unlike Rush, Giggs, Hughes et al Gareth Bale gets to have a go in a major tournament. It was a decent goal too! Regarding Martin and Russel not playing was a plus for me, don't want our top players being injured. If they were playing for England it would be different though!
