    North Americans

I know that MM bought the club recently, but do any of the North Americans still hold a financial interest in the club? In particular, I was thinking of W Brett Wilson who seemed to show quite a lot of interest in what went on on the pitch last season and before?

The official announcement said MM had taken full control so we must assume no further septic involvement. With the Cubbies going well in the MLB playoffs I dont see Ricketts being too bothered about Lil ole Derby City. After all one cost him 900 million and the other probably less than 25 million all in.

Mallet's Giants won the world series last year so poor old Brett seems to be cursed not to succeed...

Sounds like hes still owed money by the club....presumably some of the loans, er hybrid capital, er quasi debt, er subvention payments introuced bt GCE but not otherwise caoitalised.

In other words the debt that most people reckoned wasnt debt because it was put in by shareholders. Cue red dog laughter and "told you so" comments from a rat (its all Rush's fault)
