Nobody says they aren't. Doesn't mean we can't take the pee out of them for it does it. Top contribution.

I am struggling to think who was in the Clement out brigade.. One or two, yes.. Mostly on here people were saying give him time. I know Wolly gave a long list but most of those were not for Clement getting the shove.
Those one or two were entitled to their opinion..

Clement has already exceeded some of my hopes and expectations, in terms of managerial style & decision making. So it's looking very promising for the season & beyond.
You just have to smile at people who wanted Clement sacked, obviously it takes time and even early in the season we were not losing games and the shape of the team was looking good. Clement has succeeded in
Making the team more compact, certainly less gung ho. These changes take time also with the new signings they do.
Some are concerned about Jacob Butterfield, why he is a talented footballer and given a run in the team will certainly show his worth.
My only concerns at the moment are left back position, the insistence of putting Shotton on the bench (even though 2 other full backs are on the bench) it should be Pearce. And finally Dawkins not getting any football, I would like to see him go on
Loan for a month, I think he could be needed if Russell or Ince pick up an injury.
There were a few Angry, and probably will be again when things don't work out. I know you certainly weren't one and I agree they were in the minority and they're entitled to their opinion. My only point is, such negativity is damaging, particularly when it's screamed from the stands at young players and an inexperienced manager.
That works both ways... Will you be able to take it on the chin when we lose a couple?Originally Posted by triz

Fair comment Angry. Football is all about opinions, who should be playing, who deserves dropping, which are the best combinations etc. We all have a view and we're entitled to express it, but I honestly believe that some don't understand the devastating and negative impact that sustained and vociferous criticism can have, particularly on young players. As for the 'tweeters' - always anonymous I imagine - just cowardly half wits...and that's being kind.

Have you even read my post? I wrote that I'm not saying he is a good manager just that we may be better placed to judge after more than 5 games. Another top contribution.
