Is the Wolves game a must win?

    A must not lose?
    Or que sera, sera?

For me it's a must win.

I think we need to be in the top two by the next international break. Four teams are in second place on 21 points and we have the chance to get to 20 points. If we don't win we are relying on four teams to concede 3 points for us to get to second.

From a morale point of view I think it is. In terms of being season defining...it's still October, there's close to seven months to go and even if we lose we'll still be eighth and well in touch...so, no...but a convincing win would certainly be welcome at what is always an important part of the season.

Playing at home is an advantage, so all home games are must win matches! Points away are a bonus.

I think it's more of a 'don't lose' though I expect us to win. Thinking back to last season though largely irrelevant now we destroyed them at home and then away gave them the game with soft goals when we arguably up until their second produced one of our best away performances of the season. Think we have too much for them in midfield/attack.

The teams above us all picked up points. If we lose Wolves go ahead of us. We have to beat the teams near us to make up ground. I don't care that its only October. Last year everyone assumed Bournemouth would fall away and open up a promo slot. Didn't happen! We have to get winning particularly at home and against the top half teams.

Watching the the game in a bar in Cyprus, what could be better? I'll tell you what, being in my normal seat at the Ipro!
Having said that it'll be nice to celebrate with a few beers in my shorts and tee shirt tonight!

If I remember rightly Findern, Bournemouth did 'fall away' last season but nobody could take advantage, least of all us. My point about October was just that there's a very long way to go and although today's win was very welcome it's form over the last three months that'll be decisive. For me the January fixtures look tough and how well we do then will be massive.

    Every month is massive.

The margins are so tight now and there are so many contenders. It's all about limiting errors during the whole season now and grinding out results when we are not at our best.

Come the winter and injuries/suspensions, our squad could prove the difference.
