    Injuries

Good interview on Alive Radio last night with James Fowler .

Unfortunately Queens are again struggling with injuries and suspensions this weekend

Hilson - OUT for two months with another fractured foot
Tapping - OUT for another 2/3 months
Dowie - OUT for another 4/5 weeks
Brownlie - back training but a doubt for Saturday
Kidd , Russell & Millar also back in training but should be available for selection

    and Jacobs suspended

It's doesn't rain but it pours at the moment

With Jacobs out suspended having got 7 bookings at least Fowler won't have to play him at right back. With the question regarding no recognised right back this season I don't know why Fowler or Skelton don't play themselves there. Fowler played at Killie at right back for years or else as a holding midfielder. No squad number allocated for Fraser Kerr as yet from Motherwell if he's arriving as cover. Fowler is under pressure at the moment but I have some sympathy for him when you see who's not available for the Alloa game

Why can we just not go out and sign a conventional right back even if he is of an average quality. It would give the side the balance we are seriously lacking at the moment. No one can convince me that Kidd can fill that role and Brownlie is a centre half. This has been a no brainer since the beginning of the season and I cannot understand why it is still to be resolved.

    re: Injuries

Queens are well short of defenders for tomorrow, so it'll need to be Kidd at right back. If fit i would go with this starting eleven.

    Thomson
    Kidd Hooper Higgins Marshall

    Harris Millar Hutton Russell

    Lyle Smith
C'mon Queens let's get 3points, none of this playing for a draw negativity.
