Easy CAM…..I'll have you know Revell's a god in these parts….his poster still adorns the wall above my headboard…..

    ' That's all a part of his 'successful' persona….'

Sorry don't buy that at all. He believes that, but he's wrong.

The fact that he's a bullsh!ting tosser will only ever hinder him, if only he really did learn from his mistakes.
I met him, wasn't sure at first, but it didn't take me that long to work out the type of person he was, basically, his reputation believe every word, then he gets sacked for non footballing reasons, like I say he'll never change.

His type of success has a price could we afford it?

That remains to be seen at the end of the season…..4 million….yep that's a lot for a club of our size to lose….here's hoping we get to use it next season in the Championship….

All we had to do was keep the wembley team..i know tavernier needed sorting out cash wise, and agard wanted more, but that team was good enough to stay up for a long time...just ask this ...would that team beat this current team? Theres no comparison..what a shame..weve done it again..

I'm guessing that the 5 you don't mention (at least from my memory) all moved on for more than we could afford to pay them - Morgan, Arneson, Thomas, Revell, Pringle - or did they just not like SE?

CAM....Morgan - was looking average to say the least but on paper better than this load we have now. Probably thought he could apply himself better in league 1. Even managed to score for Wigan already something he failed to do for us all season...

Arneson - coming to the twilight of his career and the offer of a two year contract back home was too good to turn down and who can blame him.... Very sorely missed with his sublime passing .....

Thomas - money what else....we couldn't compete what they were offering so with a short career in front of him he takes what he can while he can.... Funny thing is he's not pulling up any trees of late so must be happy just drawing the wage....still better than Bowery/JCH put together...

Revell.... Superman....offered a 1 year contract Cardiff came in with a 2 year contract and doubled his wage... No brainier considering his age and I do believe his Wife is also working in Cardiff so off he went..,,

Pringle.. Simple this one... Just didn'

All 5 of them would walk into the current team.

If I could pick 1 would be Arnason in midfield.

Black got to go. Diamond formation, we're not Man U. We need a completely new right hand side, right back, right sided midfield player. Striker who can come straight in. Richardson, Collins & Green its not a cushy job while you retire.

Season starts sat' needs fresh legs, fresh idea's.

We didn't play a diamond last night. We played 4-5-1 with G Ward and D Ward out wide and Andreu behind JCH. It was pretty hopeless though as G Ward kept popping up in the middle of the park and Thorpe & Green were stood on each other for most of the time.

Richardson's legs have gone. He was hopeless. Collins didn't do much wrong and I don't really think you can blame Green for much as he never had options ahead of him that were moving or in a set position available for a pass.

FWIW - I'd play the following formation in the next game. We might get spanked but we'd be having a go at them at least.

    Camp
RB - AN Other (cardboard cut out of Tavernier would be better than Richardson)
LB - Toffo (but tell him he's a full back and to hold the line).
CB - Rawson & Collins (they didn't do anything wrong against a decent strikeforce)
    CDM - Smallwood
CDM - Thorpe (I'd be tempted to put Green in but I think Thorpe will improve there over time with games).
CAM - G Ward (give him

Agree mostly with side ie Millmoorlane. I'd play Broadfoot for Collins. Play Andreu up front with JCH or in that hole behind him. Smallwood/ Thorpe central midfield, Toffolo/ Newell on the left. But as I said Right back/winger needed that's 2 players needed ASAP.
