    Scoreboard clocks

Just a small point thrown into focus by the six minutes of injury time last night. We're blessed with two scoreboard clocks, one counting up to 90 and the other down to 00.00. Then they both stop, kind of precisely when they're needed most. Is there some rule about stadium clocks not being able to display injury/added time and if not can we start using them to show actual playing time left please?

The amount of added time isn't fixed, as you can have added time in added time.

Think I read somewhere that it is an FA rule to do with stadia not being allowed to show any contentious info like dodgy fouls etc. It doesn't get much more contentious than "Fergie time".
On a similar subject will someone please set the Ossie End clock right!

The rule is that the stadium clocks stop on 90 mins as its the ref who decides when added time ends and that's a minimum of the time shown by the 4th official - I guess its to or try to stop any questioning of how much time the ref allows?

Silly rule because we'll all complain about time adde3d on one way or another.
