    Back to football

Nice to see Leicester at the top of the Premier League and the old guard bottling it. For someone who lives in a Chelsea stronghold, myself and little Angry are wetting ourselves.
I have been impressed with Leicester since they took us apart in their promotion season..
Best team I have seen for a long while and Vardy is a breath of fresh air... Living the life and loving it.. Good on them.

Booked my ticket for Hull today, was going to swerve this one but can't do it, long day ahead. Massive statement if we get a win there.

No Johnson but that might not be a bad thing, not been too impressed in the last two games. Butterfleld becoming so important for us now and our depth of squad is starting to prove a real bonus.

I have a good feeling about Friday. COYR.

Yes the Leicester thing is amazing - I made some pretty scathing remarks about the appointment of Ranieri at the time but I've had to eat my words.

Ranieri may have been a political appointment FT?

I wasn't expecting too much when Ranieri was appointed either. Thought it would be the type of appointment where the club thought appointing a big would change everything and instead had the opposite effect. But your can't argue with results. Although I am still expecting a downturn in form.

Angry Agree with you I was very impressed with Leicester in their promotion season >nice to see a team up there without spending stupid money I actually think they have a good chance of finishing top four Im going to Hull love your optimism my heart says we will win my head says no way .I expect Diame to run the show from midfield he is class all skill and power As for Johnson not sure we will miss him that much he was awful at Forest and on Saturday Stenson is right about Ranieri anyone who manages to last 4 years at Chelsea must be a good manager

Good call Angry, I was going to post something similar. It is refreshing to see a team un-favoured by the media, just winning games and playing a different style to the often boring predictable dross PL stuff served up on SKY. Also the fact that Vardy looks the best striker at the moment. A bargain player missed by all the top clubs with their teams of scouts and suited recruitment executives. Fair play to the foxes and Ranieri.

I'd love to be able to track back a couple of years on this forum where everyone was saying Vardy was a heap of non league *bleep*e and how Leicester had finally lost their mind and spent all their money! Not going tos, but you know who you are.....

Roger It was not me but it didn't take a genius to see that Vardy was going to be very good Pearson must take a lot of credit for the way he handle him when they first bought him he used him has a last 20 minute sub when Nugent was knackered
