Pretty much what i'd go for, i feeling pretty pessimistic, going to go for a 1 all draw, or Hull will sneak it by a goal.

Dawson is out, which is a bit of a predicament for them. Hull fans don't rate Curtis Davies who will more than likely come in, while Harry Maguire is supposedly still learning at this level. They're also missing Andy Robertson, a player I rate quite highly and it seems like a lot of Hull fans do too. Furthermore they're all calling for Huddlestone out of the team who they say is too slow. The majority of Hull fans seem a bit downhearted going into the game which is always a good sign.
Now for the bad news, Hernandez is back who has been unreal for them this season. If Keogh and Shackell keep a leash on his we'll be fine though.
One common theme I keep seeing is that they're saying their midfield is too slow so maybe bring in Bryson? Give him a license to roam and he could unleash hell on them. The other issue is whether Ince should play, because he's been utter trollop so far this season. But if there was one game he'd be up for you'd have to guess it would be this? On the other

I'd go for Russell instead on Ince
Ince is too greedy for me
Could be risking a defeat only going with 6 outfield players though ????
I fancy our chances. PC seems to be nailing our away tactics (bar the last fixture of course) and I could see us getting a solid 1-0. I would take a draw though.

I thought the back four + goalkeeper were too obvious to bother.![]()
We are not just close on league position and points...process analysis (see link to Experimental 3-6-1) suggests Hull and Derby are two very similar sides in terms of creating chances and re-butting and repelling opposition.
Seems to be a banker for 0-0 or 1-0 (either way).
It will be very interesting to see how PC goes with this one? Tactical...ie 2 banks of 4 and go for a late sucker-punch or play for a result, with same team as a home game and let Hull worry about us?
Steve Bruce is a very canny manager. I'd settle for a 0-0 but believe we should go for a result and if we lose then so be it. Football is meant to be enjoyed.- view external link
Tom Ince hasn't really taken the championship by storm so far this season and I am not sure is he is the type to be fired up against his previous club. More likely to be intimidated and not perform. That's just my opinion and so I would marginally favour Russell to start. Otherwise no reason for PC to tinker.
I agree Ella. If you compare each of our players then it's a very symmetrical team, for example Huddlestone and Thorne are very similar. It could indeed be down to how the managers approach the game and how the ball falls. I haven't been this confident in a defence for a longOriginally Posted by ellafella
Oh God...'I haven't been this confident in a defence for a long time'...please don't tempt fate like that RamBam. Last time you pontificated like this you told us all how crap Weimann was and he hasn't stopped scoring since! Go for...'we're always useless on Sky, Martin has lost his way and I can't remember the last time JR offered anything'...that should get us a 0-2 with Martin and Russell as certain scorers. ;-)
