Always been likely I think Ella. Good luck to him, as Rats said elsewhere, be interesting to see how he manages going to a club that, for once, is in the ascendency.

    Backward step in my opinion.

It was always fate for him to go back to Burton and there was never anyone else to take over Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink then Nigel Clough himself. A legend has returned to Burton and the fans with be over the moon, to have him back in their reigns and hopefully get them promoted to the Championship.

Not sure that going back is the right thing and given Burton's league position expectations will be high.
As a manager he is too cautious for his own good , but hope he does well.

For who? Burton or Clough? I had hoped Burton would show more ambition, but maybe in 10 years they will be in the Championship

There will be a lot of pressure on Nigel. The expectation from Rhett fans will be very high after his last stint at the club, together with their current position. I expect a few comments from him trying to lower these expectations. Having said that, I really hope it works for them both.

Burton. Had success giving two unproven managers the chance and then revert back to negative Nigel. Before anyone criticises, I think he did a brilliant job at Derby. But he's not what Burton need at all.

I'll reserve judgement, he may be a success or it may be a mistake but Rowatt and Hasseilbank clearly have progressed faster than Clough!

I always wish Burton well, Championship will be difficult for them though Roger won't it? Ground only holds about 7,000 I think, it's seldom full and there's not a lot of room for expansion.
