Another JJ in midfield, now that would be a coup. But, I cannot see us being so lucky, we had our chance and threw it away.

Expectation: This year 'the jump' and that's Venkys target/challenge, can't see it myself.
Don't think PL would have taken it on under that criteria. Him knowing the embargo was gona be lifted pre Jan? Yes certainly.
Him believing there is a outside chance of reaching play offs this time around? - yes probably.
Confident of taking us up in 2016/17, yes I do believe so (him being confident that is).

Nothing, not on brfcc or anywhere yet.

I have heard bamford is unhappy at not getting minutes at palace though. We should be all over that IMO.

Bamford would be an excelllent choice. I'm not sure he would genuinely be available, though. You never know what's real and what are manager/agent/player mind-games.
The Transfermarkt site values him at 3-4 million pounds. I wonder if that kind of money will be available to us in January without selling any of our players.
Also, he's sort of similar in style to Lawrence if we keep him (but probably better, admittedly).

I did mean on loan actually. Doubt we could buy him unless we sold Rhodes.

We should tread into January depending on where we stand after the festive period
if we are a couple of points off the play offs or better then maybe spending a little might be the required push to get us to where we need to be
rules are being relaxed next season
39 over 3 seasons????if that's the case we can afford to be more lavish but not overly after all we are in the second division bringing in 14000 fans per home game
