Back to dogs we have ours running at crayford tonight and its on TV his racing is Westover Charlie the race is at 10 11 pm on channel 212 if you have sky and want to watch

As we're around the same age do you remember the American rock singer Del Shannon well the dog isd after him his real was Charles Westover have I bored you to death?:-)

Don't have Sky I'm afraid, which is a shame as I certainly would have given it a look.

Yes, of course I remember Del Shannon from my formative years (and that's a LOT of years ago, sadly!), Runaway was the first record to feature an electronic keyboard and I remember wondering what the hell that instrument was when I first heard the music. Sadly he committed suicide.

The dog ran well he was a little unlucky he finished second but it was his first race since August as he has been injured so we were happy with that he has won three races so far.

I chose the because I am a big fan of Del Shannon always have been I have all his music with some songs that were never released but i have them on CDs.
I might as well bore you with what happened in 2008 Del came from a small Town in Michigan called Coopersville so I found a house to rent about twelve miles away in Grand Haven on lake Michigan so the owner said why are we coming I said because of Del and i wanted to see the Museum it turned out she knew someone who not only went to school with him he also worked with Del and arranged for us to meet he took us around and showed us the house where Del grew up and although the Museum was closed on Mondays a quick phone call and it was open for us so we had a great time.
I would love to go again in August one year for the Del Shannon Car show
