Thread: Tonight's draw

[quote="LawSteelman"]Hopefully a home tie against one of the lower ranked sides whilst the bigger sides are drawn together. If we want a cup run we need the odds stacked in our favour at this stage.

talk about stating the bleeding obvious!!!

And why would I think Dundee Utd would beat us? Because despite how poor they are they have already pumped us at Fir Park this season and our recent record against them would more than suggest that they would beat us again. And if you want a bit more, our Cup record against top flight sides is woeful, not one single win since the St.Johnstone semi final in 2011...and since 91 we have met Dundee Utd on numerous occasions in the Scottish Cup and have won ONCE.

So, I'd rather avoid the Arabs thank you very much.
So...Using that logic, I don't think I'll leave the house tomorrow because it's a proven fact that there are people outside of my house and irrespective of their own daily routines, something bad might happen.

I won't get in my car because it's a proven

Being an East Kilbride man born and bred Id like to see my team play my home town team

I also have a feeling if we got East Kilbride at Motherwell they'd actually bring a big crowd. Mind Watching them win the Scottish Junior Cup bout 30 years back at Ibrox and there was a huge EK support.
Lowland League members East Kilbride are a totally new team formed recently.
East Kilbride Thistle are still a junior team.
My glorious memory of seeing them play was when my junior team Irvine Meadow gubbed them 4-1 at Firhill in 1973 in the Scottish Junior Cup Semi Final on their way to lifting the trophy at Hampden.
    Ironically, East Kilbride's consolation goal

No chance of playing them now as whoever wins this are on a winner as will feel like a cup final playing celtic and not that it matters to them but will lose heavily im sure
