Appreciate the open way the moderation has been undertaken. In the case of photos the copyright generally belongs to the photographer and if its taken openly legally nobody in the photo has a claim on how its used, unless the use is clearly defamatrory or illegal. Which is how facebook, the press etc get away with it, but appreciate that it is not the intention of anyone on this board to deliberately cause offence.

Nice one swaledale but I would prefer to have a picture removed if someone isn't happy, even it was taken by Lord Snowdon

Unfortunately in this case the photographer was a DCFC one and noone has the right to distribute the pictures without people's permission. You'll find on Facebook it makes the poster liable as do the t's and c's on this board.

As you know I'm not bothered about the pictures. Nothing to hide and never say anything on here I wouldn't say to someone's face!!!

There are people who want to hide themselves and/or just want anonymity. Which if they do then should be respected.

I can understand some folk wanting anonymity of course, but as you can appreciate I was not to know this and neither did you at the time. It is just an unfortunate incident. Hopefully now it is down it will be OK?
