    F.A.O. Alto n Rammy......

Alto, thanks for asking to read my book "A piece of the action"and I believe that Rammy has given you the details. some of the book is true especially the battle that took place in Borneo, hope you enjoy and if you get the time let me know what you think. I have been to all the locations in the book, and enjoyed them.

Rammy, you were lucky to know Brian Tilley, the man was a hero, yes he was in the SBS branch of the Marines, he was the ex-bodyguard of the Beckhams, climbed Everest and murdered in Bagdad. I did not know him myself but through other Marines who served with him in the Falklands. He was a true Brit.

We met up a few times when he still lived in Derby and he even tried to get me to train up for the bobsleigh team, but I am more of a skiing man myself lol. To be honest, I think he was just indulging me.

I lost touch with him when I moved up to Cheshire, but his sister, Aileen, contacted me to say he had been killed, but I did not get to hear the full details of what happened to him, but I know his end was not nice and not deserving of such a brave man. Thankfully, his father never got to know what happened to him because he had died a few years before, as had his mother. Eric absolutely adored his son and was so proud of him.

Brian was one tough b ugger that you would not tangle with, but a really nice guy and great company.

Claw, I really didn't think you would know Brian's to be h
