    Outsider's view of Derby's management/ownership

I know we Rams have our very strong views on how our club is being run (or not run) at the current time, but it would be interesting to hear what supporters of other clubs thing about goings on at Derby County.

Now I won.t pretend to know a great deal about Derby's management, but what I do know is that they have invested £25 million in the team this year, if that happened at Millwall I would be over the moon, I'm sure at the very least you will get to the playoffs.

What I don.t understand is how they could flog off the stadium naming rights for 7 mill, because ipro means nothing to most people whereas Pride Park makes a bold statement.

This was once mooted about renaming the Den. it was dropped like a hot potato, you should never mess with a clubs history. Look at Leicester, stadium now called King Power, what a joke.

The Den has a history but Pride Park does not really.. You taking the old to the new ground sorta worked. Us to have the BBG at Pride Park would have been wrong.. Only one BBG and our love for the old place will never die..
IPro, horrible but even worse is Just Eat all over your shirts.
25 mil has not been s

The good old BBG, I wish we were still playing there.

Buying too many quality players with big egos and on big wages and the manager not being able to keep them all happy..

I do remember the old BBG and in particular a hotdog stall close to the ground run by a friend of mine called Margaret, I had first met her in Singapore, she then married a Royal Navy sailor and came to live in Derby. Small world.

Theres that, though I believe some of the players were acquired before the last manager/head coach was appointed.

Its begining to look though as if the last Coach did not ahve a full say in what went on and who wa spicked.

Also many players not given a chance (even when others failed on the pitch) and square pegs in round holes, many players in wrong postons, we now have four players in martin Blackman, Bent and Weimann who prefer the central forward role, but did not use a formation that used 2 forwards!!

Great Photo Angry, love pics of the grounds as they used to be, and spot on, Football has lost its soul.

I like claw have no idea who runs Derby anymore or a lot of other Clubs for that matter.

I know they have gone through Managers too fast along with other Clubs, they don't seem to give Managers time to settle and turn things around to their way of working, and there again there is the wrong folk (Non Football People) who have not got a clue about Football in general.

And then there are the wrong appointments, It seems an age ago now when Derby made McClaren Manager, I said to Rammy at the time it was the wrong appointment, as he is just an average bod, I mean look at him now giving his all for Newcastle

We gave Clough 4 years.. Longest 4 years of my life mind...
McClaren would have been given a lot longer if he had wanted to stay.. He just wanted out and engineered the whole thing.
So perhaps 2 managers in nearl
