Very strange article, after reading that I'm not sure I would be picking up the phone if I was a Chairman. There is enough in there for a full case study, his insistence that Derby fans are somehow picking on him is particularly weird. The thing I do agree with him on is that on football results alone he should be in work now but that must make him look at himself and ask himself why that isn't the case. It's obvious to us but when he litters the interview with bitterness about Rangers coz they didn't hire him you have to wonder if he will ever get it. Poison of the highest order - I would argue his suggestion that he leaves clubs stronger than he found them is 180 degrees wrong. He seems to have a unique ability to destabilise and rupture clubs to their very core - you could argue we still haven't recovered from what he did here.
