I said it was a good result, seems a section of the crowd were getting on his back so they weren't finding the game enjoyable.

Highlights tonight for me - seeing that Tapping is indeed real and not a figment of my imagination ( likes getting stuck in ) - Jake Pickard's early ' very meaty' challenge that was thankfully no more than a yellow - Andy Murdoch's clean strike for winner - Goalie and back four solid . Credit where due to someone who doesn't often get it . Step forward Mr Brownlie - Hilson's return . He just looks like a striker that we have missed most of the season. Watch his movement .

Highlights = 3 points , Andy Murdoch's winning goal , Calum Tapping starting , a battling performance and that gate being open again
Lowlights = Not a great home crowd , the performance from the referee , the half-time entertainment , Anthony Stokes hair transplant

Beany's new transplant also looked good while the whole team put in a great shift - well done lads

Great to see Tapping finally get a start for Queens last night . It did though look like he was struggle with an injury bang on halftime and he didn't last too long into the 2nd half

In the second half I expended some energy bawling from the Portland Terrace, GET A FORWARD ON!
He put Murdoch on instead and ...... Har! Har!

Great strike! Knew it was a goal as soon as he hit it. Eat that, Stubbsy!

First time I have posted for a few months but watch the comments with some amazement. Supablue, you are making judgements on hearsay as you have quite openly stated in the past that you won't be coming back while this style of play under fowler continues. How can you make judgements when you don't see what is happening?

have we improved on last season - definitely not!! But I don't think any side would improve with the amount and calibre of players that we have lost in the summer without spending a barrow load of cash. Fowler hasn't got us worrying about relegation, but also got us competing for a play off place and we have been doing this most of the season and this is done with the loss of what appears to be decent players in Tapping and Hilson for most of the season.

Is the football good to watch - again I agree, at times it has been pretty grim, but not as bad as some make out. We can play some decent stuff at times and we are generally solid at the back. Some people on here

That was indeed a cunning plan of yours because you knew that Fowler would do the opposite that you suggested to him.

Good , no , very good post fatfan. Maybe you should contribute more often. I agree that I find it amazing that some would criticise the team after beating a team such as Hibs who had the countries fourth biggest player budget in the list I seen a few months ago. If we go out open against a team like that then it would be over by half time Fowler got us compact and bedded us in slowly, ready to take the game to them later on. Having said that, I don't see the need to take this kind of approach into any other game bar Rangers and Hibs. We are good enough to go out and attack the others from the start and win but maybe the managers errs on the cautious side too much at times . Anyway, fatfan reminded me of something when he talked about some Queens fans maybe being a bit spoilt in the last decade or so. A workmate of mine quite often says to me laughing that John Connolly ruined my life . What he means is that during Connolly 's time, the expectation bar was raised way beyond the dros

My opinions are not based on hearsay, I kept up to date with live updates and open all mics and then read various posts of which only one said it was an enjoyable game of football. Jardi then starts a thread about changing tactics. You can have a go at me if it makes you feel better but I will not change my opinion about Fowler.
