I thought yesterday was one of Tom Ince's best performances for us.
Although... I have watched the highlights of a few of our goals recently and he looks genuinely disappointed when another player scores. Watch the sky sport link below and see his reaction to Russell's goal. - view external link

More negative conjecture.
I'm more concerned with how Huddersfield seemed to control the midfield for spells and run at our defence with ease. We are not attacking or defending as a unit.
I like the little run he does when we score, the "I'm coming, I don't want to, but I'm coming if the have to" run, the one where if he ran any slower he would be going backwards.

Have to admit when we first brought in Ince, I wasnt that fussed by him. Thought he was a prima-dona, luxury player. During his loan, he brought lots of goals, but under McClaren I felt he didnt track back and help the defence enough - not surprisinly, Christie's form then deserted him
Under Clements, I thought it was visible how much Ince has improved his defensive efforts. I dont now question his tracking back and desire to put in defensive duties. IMO, anyone whho critises him for that part of the game must be watching through blinkers.
I have felt for months now though that managers and opposition have him sussed on the right. He is so left footed, its predictable that he's cutting in. Teams have packed that middle area, and he has nearly always been jinking inside only to get dispossessed by crowded midfield. That had me tearing my hair out, as it made us very ineffective in attacking half.
On Saturday, played him out left, and wow, what a difference! All of a sud
