    £7.5 million, some context

    After hearing about the sale of BWFC for an alleged £7.5 million, I pondered some other money-related stats that may or may not put this price into context.

    - 13 years ago that would have been enough for two Dean Holdsworths with £500,000 left in change.

    - 8 years ago, it wouldn't even have been enough for us to but Johan Elmander (he purportedly cost us £8.3 million)

    - The money Man City spent on Raheem Sterling this season could have been used to buy BWFC 6.5 times over with cash to spare.

    Does anyone else have any interesting stats along these lines?

    I'll give you some interesing context mate..

    When ED came into this club we were mid table in the premier league, the stadium was bought and paid for, Merchandising in our three shops was through the roof, we had 18,000 season ticket holders, and sold out almost every game.
    The club was valued at between £300 and £350 million.
