The OP is right, the mood is very hostile at the moment. The club have a massive week ahead, if we have a poor performance against Forest, it is going to turn nastily on Saturday... Again the players, coaches and senior management team have backed themselves into a corner.. Nowhere to hide next week.. Forest poor at the moment as well, so their fans could be venting as well.
    It's going to be interesting.
Up until the substitutions there was no doubt about the result, we completely dominated every area of the pitch, Rotherham could hardly get a touch of the ball. IF Wassall had replaced Thorne with Hans

I think most people would have said great substitution but an unnecessary and possibly reckless risk. They were the type of substitutions you'd expect if we were 3:0 down and needing to roll the dice.

I think having a sugar daddy owner is where most of your problems lie.

It's a double edged sword. He's brought you investment and attracted players - but with that comes his inexperience as a club owner.

Some of his decisions seem bizarre from the appointment of PC and to replace him with DW. Having one inexperienced person in the club (Mel) is enough without introducing another as a manager when it's clear the supporters are clamouring for promotion. You needed an an old wise calm head rather than a new manager trying to make a for himself while earning a quick buck.

As Sean Dyche tells us, football owes you nothing. You might have the players - but you can't just turn up and expect to get the three points. A point another poster elaborated on at 3-0 and not seeing the job through.

This league is a hard one to get out of even with investment. It seems to be to me from the outside looking in that from some of the posts, there is an implication that some bought sea

Don't you think Mel's 'shelled out big money' himself Polish? The reaction to a draw at Rotherham - an in form side with a new and more than capable manager - is, imo, out of all proportion.
Why do fans have a 'right to go ****ing mad' in this situation anymore than if we'd played really badly and drawn 0-0. There's every reason to be disappointed and frustrated...every reason to have a good rant but some of the stuff on here tonight is just childish, malicious nonsense. We've had a few people at Derby who really deserved to be demonised... Docherty, Maxwell, the Three Amigos, Davies...that's not the case now. [/quote]

Imagine that's the one and only time Wassall will be referred to as 'Wenger'eske' Rob.

Wasn't having a go at you, yours was a straight from the heart rant born out of complete and understandable frustration. Suspect some are being repetitively and maliciously negative though and it gets us nowhere.
Wassall seems to have screwed up yesterday and I agree he's out of his depth but he did, apparently, get 80 minutes of good football out of them yesterday and that's a first for a while.
When you think how much stick Mel has taken for 'going back on his word' recently it's also hardly likely that he'll suddenly contradict all that he told us four weeks ago and replace the interim because of some dodgy substitutions.

At least Morris seems to have learned to shut up.. One positive I suppose.
Possibly the most inept public speaker ever.
He must be sticking to playing Championship Manager on his PC. Oh no, he got rid of his PC... Tablet then...

What? Take deep breaths, calm down and wait for the owner to employ as director of football a 69 year old has-been who has managed to almost bankrupt every club he's been at. If this business with 'Arry is true then the situation at our club is just getting ridiculous and exposing us to further ridicule.
