an insult to the 2000 at the game and to Derby fans everywhere
What an appalling interview. The guy is rude and out of his depth. He continually shows an attitude of inexperienced ****y and unprofessional nature.
He simply has to go and Mel Morris must take responsibility for placing a guy in charge of a top club is not upto the job technically or show a personality to take any club in a forward direction.
Hes a coach at best. One in a long line of coaches we have employed as managers now.
Phil Brown, Steve Maclaren, Paul Clement, Darren Wassal
Embarrasing. Whats the point in spending money on players for them to have mediocre men in charge.
Awful

Just heard the interview again, DW sounds like a man under pressure already. You could close you eyes and imagine your listening to a Pearson interview.
What happened in the last 10 minutes ? Reasonable question .....you tell me.....unreasonable answer.
This is a manager who said substitutions were not the issue and formations are not important .
Tried to convince us previously about "positives" in games where were truly awful....
Sorry but he has to go...appears the fans turned today too.
Honestly
Or Billy liar Davis same excuses
Just listened to the interview ...... What has he said so wrong?
He's thanked the fans for the support and said they deserved to get booed at the end.
He says he can't work out what went wrong and will look at it.
Denies the exchange with shackel which is odd as we've seen it for ourselves.
He got asked some really stupid questions. Leading questions and he doesn't bite. He won't be led into giving answers he doesn't want to or say things he doesn't mean.
Thing is Rats, DCFC employ a media manager (Colin Gibson?) so Wassell should be coached and prepared for interviews. Surely even you can appreciate that he does not come over at all well in interviews. In fact he is awful. The club should help him out, but perhaps he is stubborn and thinks he knows best?Originally Posted by Rattea
A professional person should never appear to lose his nerve when being asked a simple question. Simply flipping the question back to the interviewer is unprofessional. Denying things that happen on camera is also a little odd as you say. The questions were not stupid either i dont think. Very valid stuff. He just didnt have the balls to say i messed up and cost DCFC 2 points.
DCFC are a multi million pound organisation and should have representatives that are intelligent enough to give answer simple questions. He continually comes across badly IMO and its embarrassing.
He is in over his head. Its most likely not his fault he is in that position but still it was embarrassing.
One word 'arrogant'!!
