    Todays game

Unfortunately I cant provide a 1st person perspective on this one, I just have to go on the Express FM commentary. But, I actually see this as a bloomin good result (the missed pen accepted). Mansfield are pushing for the play-offs, they are at home etc. We came under a lot of pressure throughout the game and got the point. The pervading element is that we've struggled up front and we didn't go wide today which i think we should. I'm not sure of the yellow card count but I think the Stags came off worse (i think we had 1). We were fortunate in the opening 10-15 not to have a penalty against us (the Express lads seemed to agree it was a pen). Not to score away from home and still get a point will do for me. Don't forget we've actually reeled in a point for third place. I'm quite happy today. That was a very difficult game. Being critical, i'd put my best strikers on much earlier. Smith doesn't do it for me. PUP.

Yep, fancied this as a draw and happy with it as well. A little bit of ground clawed back on 3rd place and it is all starting to change from top 2 places down. Plymouth on the slide, Bristol on the up - it's all there to play for in wobbly sphincter time. I can't wait for the next few games. Must win Friday.

The lack of energy from many of our team was the disappointment. The News reported "Cook silenced below par players", that summed it up for me. Rovers, Accy and Orient all won, no chance of 3rd place for me. Playoffs at the best and we all know they are a lottery. We have to win Friday and get a result Monday on a ground where we don't do well to put it mildly. (2 defeats, no goals scored and 5 conceded). Still recall watching the 4.0. defeat broadcasted live in Fp with Senor Scully.

It was freezing so I joined you at half time. Left at 2.0 and it was an hour or more before I heard we had conceded 2 more.

That was played on Nov 16th. The next 6 games yielded only 2 draws and 4 defeats before a much needed Boxing Day 1.0 home win over the Daggers.
