If its not Arry - Who? Hoddle maybe?

I think after we get completely played off the park by Hull on Tuesday coming, I think Mel will have to act. That is of course unless the 'Derby Way' is to avoid the PL.

Rowett seems to be the Bookies Fav at 2/1, there are allsorts ofs flying around. Hoddle is an interesting one, he has some interesting views outside of football. However, he is a world class coach and I think the SM boys will probably sing his praises.

Who would you like and why?
Who do you think we will end up with and why?

I'd like Pearson, got the T shirt stands no nonsense, but I fear too strong a personality for Mel and prob thinks he deserves a prem club.

I've heard that it will be a "left field" appointment that will surprise people, so Hoddle could be in with a shout though I hope not. Sherwood might be a ossible but again would he want to come to Derby?

It won't be Redknapp, Moyes, or Rodgers thats for sure.

Noooooooooo to Sherwood for me, I'd quite like Hoddle, he has been out of the managerial role for a long time though. I don't like Pearson, but he would deliver, and I agree he won't get on with Mel so its a non starter. Maybe we are waiting for Wroy after he gets binned by England for not winning the Euros. One thing is for sure its almost certainly going to be a yes man!!!!! I'm surprised Aary isn't in the betting at all, which makes me think it could be him and its a done deal. What doesn't add up though is why not now? I'm confused, I think Mel will need to do something and fast if we get a drubbing on Tuesday. it will be 6 games to save the season!!!!!!!!!1

He took Swindon the PL, who do you want? I suspect it will be a coach - that way it will be a yes man!!!!!!

to be honest I have lost the will to live on the subject! Mel doesnt look as if he is going to appoint anyone, so ask me the question when the season ends and we can see who is available

Who and why? Appreciate there are several who could do a good job but Gary Rowett for me please. Knowledgeable, articulate, hungry, sufficiently experienced as both a player and a manager to command respect, proven as a manager at both Burton and Birmingham, tough enough and, having played for Derby and set up home here, he seems to have a genuine affinity for the club.
