    Venkys : in or out?

Maybe it's time for a vote on each ones opinion upon what's best now.

Where do people think our future lies ie with or without Venkys ?
In this I am going suggest that on the without side, they have (amazingly I agree) written off the debt.
They are apparently rich enough to run (if that's the right word) a modern day footie club. Whereas, is there anyone out their with sufficient finance to sustain us even at this level ?
Would the missing thousands flock back ? I need some convincing that would be so.

I'm not sure what to think.
If some miracle workers with Lancashire connections step in with untold wealth...fine.
Realistically, who would appear to fill the void? I know that sudden benefactors have appeared for other clubs, but we are a particularly difficult case.
I'm still not clear about the debt-business either. Would ANYONE just be able to fork out an extra 40 million for new players without us breaching the FFP regulations again, anyway?
I know what Saxo means about starting from scratch, but a football club with our facilities and infrastructure costs a hell of a lot to run even if we're putting out youth-players only.
On the whole, I reckon we're better off sticking with the devils we know. Whether they're prepared to stick with us is another question.

On the 'other side of the coin'..........' Paris St-Germain's Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 34, is in talks with Manchester United over a £600,000-a-week deal.
That's a fair old whack for a 34 yr old (even a sprightly 24 yr old) in anyone's book !!! Rumoured yes I know, but that's the 'state of the game' in this day and age. Makes you weep doesn't it.
Just where will it all end ???

If you remove "in or" from your thread title , you will have your answer.

To be honest, football at the top level is like some fantasy business game. It's as if they are not dealing with real money.
Does any manager/owner (player?) ever take a step back and think, 'Salaries like that are just plain silly'?
Sorry - that's me being just plain silly!

Dezzer, i don't think it's as black and white as that. We as supporters have never really had a clear dialogue on what their intentions actually are.
With that in mind how can anyone make an informed decision?
In the past I have said I hate them and want them out but on reflection, what's to hate. If they were to come out and say they were going to invest and stated the details of that investment I think a great many supporters would forgive everything else.
P.S. I broke a promise against the Nobbers because me and Moony were there and we bumped into an old face [Fylderover] and had a good laugh-regardless of the result-and good catch up.
    Chris Brown IS bobbins!

Why don't those old faces post anymore? They are missed, regardless of their thoughts about me and my postings..

I'd give anything to be called a prick regularly by cloggy again..
