Well considering a few of us were debating it Monday then it looks like you are wrong on that count.

I saw pictures on BBC and in papers and looks a dead very penalty but when we saw it on the to you can clearly see it's a dive.

We all agreed it's a dive and just because some referees are fooled does not mean it's right. Contact does not mean a foul it has to be a foul and that was not. That's the rule!

And I'd prefer a London club to win over fester as they always try and play attractive football and what fester did with their debts is disgusting. Lots of little companies stepped on!

Is this the best you can do Rattea? It's so obvious that you have little conviction in many of your rants. Your 'light the touch paper and retire' style of posting is getting a tad predictable.[/quote]

As long as the fish keep biting the bait will still get dangled in front of them

    Agreed.

Vile club, Vile little chav (vardy )

Have wanted a 'provincial club' to win the PL for years, but would rather lose a nad than it be Fester

    Spot on.

Made even more ridiculous by the fact he was (rightly or wrongly, it is irrelevant to the point) on a yellow card. Nobody to blame but himself.

Add to that his reaction and he seems to be fitting into the profile of a player at the top of the Premier League, unfortunately.

Yes I remarked on the issue of going into administration in an earlier post. I totally agree that they have benefitted from that. However , what Ranieri has done this season is remarkable and it's unlikely to be repeated. Regarding the dive or simulation, it's been happening for decades. It seems worse now due to the camera angles and video

I never used to complain when Francis Lee used to go down even if someone just looked at him. If I remember in the game with the famous Norman Hunter fight he dived to get a penalty in that game.

It has always happened (or certainly during the past 40+ years), but that doesn't make it right - and it's getting worse and worse (particularly in the Prem). The ref (quite rightly) got a lot of stick for being inconsistent in the Leicester game, but it's a damn difficult job when the culture of modern footballers is to appeal everything and to see what you can get away with - cheating is endemic and the sooner the so-called experts on Sky etc started calling players cheats, rather than protecting them with excuses, the better.

The best hope is that Vardy misses a couple of games due to his sending off and subsequent childish antics and that Leicester make a hash of winning the title as a result - once players see the genuine consequences of their behaviour, we might see just see an improvement in their conduct....

To be honest I don't think a footballer really cares whether he's getting called a cheat for a couple of weeks or not when they're getting paid a ton and benefiting their team as a result.

I have not forgiven them for the 1994 play-off final and all the Leicester fans draping flags over the motorway bridges and generally taking the p**s as we drove back up the M1 to Sheffield.
    Come on you Spurs!!!!

Things will never be right now you get pundits saying that so and so "won" a penalty. You're either fouled or you cheat."Winning" one means you've cheated in my book.
