    Management requirements DCFC

    Self delusional
    History of non achievement
    Inexperience of management
    Talks utter nonsense
    Good at putting cones out
Unable to instil belief in players or fans for sustained period if at all
Ability to be obnoxious and defensive but not to spread this to field of play
    ****

Do you think these are the pre-requisites for th Rams job? Is seems to me they have been ticked for the last 4 managers at least

When are we going to appoint someone who tells it like it is and doesn't have their head up their ****? I can live with arrogance if it's based on performance and return but not when there's nothing.

For me I want desire , hunger, knowledge , ability to tell it like it is., motivation , empathy, experience of success at least at championship level

Dyche, hughton, Pearson, to but 3
I would even get a successful foreign coach with experience at a highish level..

Rumour is Mels mum is next in line.

But its Dieter Hecking that is on the wanted list: ticks all those boxes and Swale hasn't heard of him

Anyone that suggests Pearson as the next manager instantly loses creditability in my book. Apart from being a loony, he's achieved the bare minimum but people think he's a good manager because he left Leicester on a high. And some even more deluded fans think he had a contribution to their success this season. Couldn't be more wrong.

Also, McClaren? History of non-achievement? Inexperience of management? Unable to instil belief?
You mean McClaren who won the league with Twente, got Boro to the UEFA cup final, won the league cup and made them a top half team, and was made England manager for his achievement?
    Inexperience of management? See above.
Unable to instil belief? You're telling me you thought we weren't going to go up when you were on the way to Wembley in 2014?

Finally, one last brief point on the OP. I can guarantee that PC, if he ever gets another job, he will do very well there. And Derby fans will wonder what could have been.

Anyway, moving onto the future. Bre

Think it was me that hadn't heard of Dieter Hecking, Rog. Still know nothing about him...sounds like something you might buy at B&Q...sell him to us if you're serious.
Flores seemed a good 'fit' until it was mentioned just how many jobs he'd had in the last ten years or so and Grayson has had a couple of mentions recently.
Would have thought Rogers, if he can tear himself a way from his new bride, and Moyes might want something bigger.
I'd still like Rowett but Swale says 'it's not him'.
What does frustrate me a little is how many people keep harking back to what MM said a year ago.
I totally agree we need an experienced, no nonsense motivator who needs to do it his way but, after this most bruising of seasons, isn't it possible that Mel will have learned that lesson too?

P.S. Martinez is the only one of those three I think is realistic RBF...but I thought you asked what he's ever actually achieved when I mentioned him last week. You were also, not imo always unreasonably, am

it,s his "octopus " comments that made we think he is suspect . probably because he hates talking to the media , and he never spoke out against his racist son who played for the foxes

2015-16 quarter finalist in champions league (lost 3-2 on aggregate to Real Madrid) and mid table finish in Bundesliga with Wolfsburg. In 2014-15 Wolfsburg won their equivalent of FA Cup and 2nd in Bundeslig. Credentials seem sound and there is even precedent for us employing an ex Wolfsburg manager!

Sounds like a good candidate Roger. What are the chances of him coming to DCFC ?

I do like my managers to be slightly scary... A la Pearson ..or slightly mad... Koop, Ranieri.etc so yes I rate Pearson
mcClaren moderate success but lucky based on false claims from united days. Given pots of money at Middlesbrough but I could have done what he did with that chairmans support,. Given the England job was a joke. Seen as a safe and compliant pair of hands not unlike giving Wassell the Derby job. Success in a lower league abroad but not kept up. Ultimately the emperers new clothes built up around his supposed talents caused him to implode. For me he's in the David icke envelope. Complete nutter with no idea. He will be explaining subuteo moves in his attic to a small dog and his childhood action men in a couple of years

Unlike McClaren PC may learn from his mistakes I should hope so. I just don't think we should be used as the basis for someone's apprenticeship
