Here, here to that. I seriously fear that he has played his last game for Derby. Sadly, I don't see too many others that people will be knocking the door down for - that in itself says something quite significant.

Farrend Rawson (academy graduate) did very well for Rotherham at CB.

Callum Guy and Timi Elsnik have both been 'rewarded' for U21 performances with a day out on the first team bench.

Ivan Calero scoring goals for fun at U21 level.

Offrande Zanzala expected to be the next breakthrough at striker.

All of these, plus Max Lowe, I expect will be given a chance to impress in pre-season.

Also, I've been impressed by Jonathan Mitchell whenever I've seen him and he played for the first team in the FA Cup.

Hope we can keep Hughes as he is our most gifted player by some margin. I also thought Jeff H did well, lots of energy, very positive and good positional awareness.

Leicester seem to have kept most of the same team they finished last season with - they didn't finish in the same position as the previous season. I firmly believe, as I have said elsewhere, that the players we have at the moment have massively underachieved this season, playing to nothing near their true potential. There are one or two that, on the face of it, are not for us but in the main they are perfectly capable of winning automatic promotion next season if we are able to f

I understand the continuity argument and the examples provided but the situation needs resolving soon, imo, in order to avoid last summer's mistakes. There are plenty of suggestions, in no particular order...Pearson, Rowett, Flores, Martinez, Hecking, Holloway, Rogers, Moyes, Stimac...can you see one of them being appointed or would you stick with DW and employ one of the above, or a.n.other, as a 'mentor'?
What I mean Anagram is the risk of trying to find the right manager is outweighed by the pros for DW with a mentor.. Let's take PC as the example. Had a great CV. S

Okay...not sure I agree but it's a different approach and I take your point...last six words apart ;-).
Can't think of any examples of managers actually being appointed with a mentor. Mercer and Allison perhaps...don't say it...you're too young. Are there any and who would you suggest?

Sadly, I do remember, especially the Stetson and the cigar....
Can I think of any mentors...give me a while.
