Thread: NP's first interview

    NP's first interview

Pretty straight forward as would be expected. Spoke well.

Some interesting body language at time, some well timed smirks when talking about some aspects of the job he doesn't miss.

    On rams player.

One thing I noticed is that he never actually answered the question asked.

Gibson asked him about how managers as human beings deal with being in management one day and the out of it the next after being sacked and how they adjust in day-to-day life and he replied about how the club is ambitious and it's a good fit!

Still, a good first interview and he's definitely excited me for what he can do for this club.

To be frank it was full of non sequiturs and vacuous waffle with no real substance. The telling bit was NP's answer to Gibbo's "Why Derby County?"; paraphrasing he said "It's a good fit for ME".
Does that reveal anything about the man, perhaps??

What else do you expect him to say? If you had just got a new job , what basis would you take it on - being good for you surely? to say it is a great deal for the club would be both arrogant and presum

He's naturally guarded - he hates the press - he'll do things his way - a mans man.
