One for the future and lets face it considering the likes of Reilly and Carmichael this area is potentially a source of good young talent. What has happened regarding the other Annan target Todd, any news on that front?

I believe that Annan wanted £15,000 for Todd and Queens offered around a quarter of that . He is now doing pre-season at Dunfermilne.

If this is the case then it demonstrates a serious lack of ambition on the part of the club and the BoD.

If that's how it panned out then that is depressing news indeed. The concert debacle coming home to roost?

well im not holding out much hope in any decent quality signings coming in from here on if there skimping on minimal fees like 15k ,players signed so far ,most of the team that struggled last season minus oliver, harris, conroy, jakobs, kidd and russell, one not too bad signing in hamil ,a hopeful 17 year old are what we are showing sofar ,we still have no wingers ,a bit light in defence especially rightback area ,and no attack minded centre mids ,if there showing there hand by skimping on todd i cant see any of these positions filled with the quality needed to mount any sort of challenge in the coming season .
