I disagree that he is looking for his last payday as he was offered a lot more money to stay with Burnley.

I am going by what Barton and his agent (who was on Talksport) said. I don't know the exact figures as they never to,d us but what they did was Barton could have earned a lot more money at Burnley than he is at Rangers.

He was offered a 1 year deal at Burnley and sevco offered him 2 years according to a quick Google search. He will probably finish his career at the huns given his age.

That's true but according to what was said he still would have earned more at Burnley over a year than two at Ibrox. I agree he will probably finish his career at Rangers unless it goes tits up which is well possible with him. I think he will do very well though as he is a braw footballer. See how his temperament is up here in the goldfish bowl.

Heard Barton has been knocked back for a visa to go over to America for pre season with the zombies because of his criminal record.

Reporter: "What's your thoughts on Joey Barton, as you know he's been very vocal lately, how will you get on with him?"

Broony: "I think we'll get on great, he is a Celtic fan after all."

If people were to be honest on here I'm sure going to watch your team play Rangers I'm sure you'd lime to see Barton play ..

He's a character not always good but he has a big heart regarding charities so I will not be doing any booing his way ..

We have to be fair after all. How many folk on here wouldn't have them in their team .
