I am perfectly comfortable with my criticism of GH the season before last, he was pretty poor. For me it was the captaincy (too early? in difficult circumstances?). Does this mean I was harsh, I don't believe I was.
This last term he was a new man, and with that, overall the man of the season for consistency.
So the top line applies.
I would like to think that Grant went away from his poor season and 'got himself together' in order not to repeat it. So full credit there for dealing with it like a pro.
I still think the same transformation could happen with Adam Henley if we persevere with him. Surely the performances he put in against PL opposition in the Cup can't have been flukes.
