Interesting times - but will our wage structure mean that we keep losing out?

Guess it is just a waiting game now...

This has to be like the 50th time since Tone took over that we've been prepared to break out transfer record.

According to tomorrow's Advertiser it's looking like Bradshaw. Walsall are understood to want £900,000.
    5 foreign player's on trial.
Belgian defender Guillaume Francois is one on the radar.

Quote from TS.....We now have plan A, B and C...

    Advertiser Friday 8th July.

Seeing is believing.....we've been here before with mass speculation of spending top dollar never to see it occur.... hopefully this story is true and we finally show intention and business....

I'm sure we have been here before.
It's more likely things go away when million pound players have demanded the wage to go with the price tag.

far too many doubters on here. The club are finally on the right path to establishing themselves in the Championship and we will see some quality signings over the next couple of weeks. No danger of relegation next season and a top half finish possible. UTM.

If we consider the previous managers in the Championship for us.

Could Evans have been trusted with a transfer budget?

Was Redfearne trusted or had all the money already been spent?

Did Neil Warnock sign anyone apart from his love child Kenny?

It's been said that Warnock shook hands on a deal but for various reasons he walked away but he certainly delivered what was needed and told TS what was needed to take the club forward on the field.

It seems like the patient way Stubbs is going about things gives the impression that the quality over quantity promise weve heard before is actually happening.
