I don't know why anyone is surprised. Stewart is always talking about breaking our transfer record.

We never sign anyone for money. Ever. It's a bit embarrassing that he keeps flapping his gums every year about top ten and record signings. Remember him saying premier league after we'd won the playoffs? Also embarrassing. Breaking our transfer record isn't even a big deal considering it's so paltry.

He needs to shut up, for once in his life, about 'imminent substantial signings'. It's not the reason we don't sign anyone, but it just looks embarrassing and it's so frustrating when we fail to sign anyone.

Barnsley have ambition. They are willing to pay we aren't. Simple really. Same old Rotherham nothing changes.
All this talk of a top 10 finish is just Bullsh1t.
With the team we have we wouldn't finish top ten in League 1.

My thoughts exactly.
I can understand the Gregory one. He's not worth half of what they were asking but Bradshaw is well worth the risk.
I don't know what Barnsley are paying but I bet it's a lot less than £1.5 million. It makes me wonder if we really wanted these players.
Oh well it's down to plan C now. Campbell-Ryce and Matt Tubbs.
