Much as I hate sticking up for a red (it is pre-season though), Tricky does have a point on the Coudenhove Kalergi plan. Its something I'd not heard of until I got involved with some public sector wallahs who were auditing my biz prior to some grant award. I won't go into the details because its just an anecdote, but it became clear that there is a devotion to Kalergi, with an almost masonic approach, a sort of 'nod and a wink' club, in some parts of the public sector.

Rather than just dismiss his comments as just the rants of a someone with nine months of torture ahead of him, it might be enlightening to do a bit of research on that one. I say that as someone who has no racism in him on a person by person level, but my opinion is that the Kalergi-focussed open door policy of previous UK administrations is what has led to the recent, and growing, anti-immigration backlash which IMO swung the Brexit result

That a little known Austrian-Japanese politician who died nearly forty five years ago was so prophetic that all the invariably white EU leaders are and have ever since been hell bent on creating chaos in Europe by introducing so many migrants that it causes destabilisation of the European continent and leads ultimately to some sort of European genocide?
Isn't this just nonsense put about by right wing nut cases? Apparently Kalerghi wrote...'The man of the future will be of mixed race'. (Not too hard to predict). 'The races and classes of today will gradually disappear due to the elimination of space, time and prejudice'. (Think I had a bit of stuff that messed around with space and time in the 70's too.)
Honestly it's about as meaningful as Blue Mink singing, at roughly the same time, 'what we need is a great big melting pot' to turn out 'coffee coloured people by the score'. Wasn't that just the philosophy of the moment, brought about as a reaction to Apartheid in South Africa and something alarmingly close to it in the USA at the time?
Are we really subscribing to the theory of some Masonic/Zionist plot now coming to fruition whereby white Europeans are overrun by people of mixed race. A conspiracy/plot which only the likes of Nigel Farage and Donald Trump have the wit to see through.

Maybe I didn't put myself over too well, and I should have said 'Kalergi-style' not 'Kalergi-focussed', but I will stick by my observation, and whilst in the presence of (quite a number of) these public sector bods it was dropped into conversation quite a lot. I've never heard it referred to at any time whilst in the real world and tricky actually jogged my memory on it. Now maybe it was just a bunch of underlings who'd heard a senior mention it and were trying to impress him/her and each other, but I genuinely felt there was 'something afoot'. Maybe they were Blue Mink fans.
