So you are actually hoping we suffer another Bhatti Bros nightmare?
If someone had posted the same drivel championing the demise of your club on your board, you would be crying to the moderators for a ban. That's what you do.
It's not banter when the likes of you try and make the joke.
Fk off you hypocrite.
Newcy don't get offended with reminders of those dark times in the 80s from a guy whose club has no history.
Look at it this, if it wasn't for the Bhatti brothers we would not have the Steve Bull, Andy Mutch, Tommo, Ally Brown, Phycho (Keith Downing) etc. wonderful era And the ****e gave us 3 of those players including Bully who for his whole career at Wolves average 15 goals season plus 5 at Wolves. Wolves have won all the divisions-what has the ****e won?
The History of our club is a rollercoaster ride of deep lows but with massive highs and is a good watch ( I Have the DVD) for any neutral football supporter. The History of Tesco Utd DVD (if one exists) will be great for insomnia because nothing happens in it of note!
I am 50 year old Wolves fan and went to my first game in 1972 and I would not swap those highs of 2 League Cup wins, the old Division 4, 3 Champions. Later Sherpa Van winners, Prem play off winners for nothing.
You will have no billionaires being attracted to that boring, hopeless club down the road.
Abbo, I think you're wrong on this one. I think Mr Morgan quickly grew tired of the "Wolves Project" and some minor verbal abuse was the excuse he needed to get rid. This guy is effectively a scouser (he actually was in the same form at my Sister-in-Law's school, in N. Wales) and has no connection (or desire for it) with Wolverhampton. I think he just wants a reasonabe return on his investment (promarily the infrastructure around the club).
Wolfiebill, You may be right, but don't forget that he has worked on several other projects in Wolverhampton that have no direct connection to the club. When you think of what he has done for the club, and the money he has invested, it isn't surprising when he gets verbal abuse from some of our cretins, that he thinks to himself " Do I need this abuse in my life?". I heard that a note was left on his desk, telling him to get out of our club.
Some supporters would not be happy if we had the richest man in the World as the owner. If we beat Man United ten nil, and we were twenty points clear at the top of the Prem, they would still blame Mr Moxey for something.
As the saying goes- You can please some of the people some of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time.
I've not really given my own full opinion on the takeover since I first saw it reported in The Telegraph over a week ago.
I don't take much stock from what the 'Red Tops' report but when' braodsheets' such as 'The Telegraph' and 'The Times' continue to stand by their stories I take more notice. For this reason I do believe a takeover, with quite some financial clout, is going to happen. I also think, after reading some reports over the last 24 hours that it will be FOSUN who take control. Other pointers that lead me to believe that Wolves are well into serious discussions with an outcome near is their lack of claims rubbishing it. If the Telegraph report of a few weeks ago was 'pie in the sky' Wolves would have surely rubbished that claim at the first opportunity. Other factors include the sales embargo it seems Wolves have implemented over the past week.
Should this takeover happen in the coming days my emotions will be mixed. I have to accept that modern day football is very much business orientated and unless we receive some serious financial backing we will be a club drifting in the wilderness for years to come, but part of me will be sad that we have had to go down this route because part of the game I grew up loving has been high-jacked by the mega rich for financial gain only and have little or no knowledge, and certainly no understanding, of what the game means to the fans....or certainly the fans of a certain vintage.
Wolves fans of a certain age, late 40's and older, have been lucky enough to see Wolves during various successful periods between the 1950's and our last real success of note the League Cup win of 1980 achieve this when football was still played on a relatively level playing field, today of course it isn't. On the other hand I realise the only chance any of us, and specially the younger Wolves fans will again be in a position to see Wolves challenge for any of the major honours will come with the backing of the money men I really despise. However, that said, I would be lying if I said I didn't feel a tinge of excitement at the prospect of Wolves once again becoming a 'player' in English football and when it becomes an actual fact that pen has been put to paper on the deal I'll be looking forward to the coming season with a damn sight more passion than I did last season.

When this takeover happens, and I believe it will, you just watch all those supporters who claimed they were 'die hards' but wouldn't be renewing for this season queueing around Wolverhampton praying there's a ticket available for them when they reach the ticket office!

Wokes, I have been reading some utter nonsense from some of our fans on SoMe sites over the past few weeks and I'd be amazed if most of them could tie their own shoe laces! Mol Mix, The Wolves Forum and Wolves Alliance on FaceBook have far too many of these idiots posting on them. From stupid one line comments to inane rants and even some downright vile comments. Many of them are illiterate and I have to the question the standard of our education system!
If the article on the BBC website is to believed. then today could be the day Wolves finally get taken over. I hope it happens.
