Of course you are quite right, QOS KING. I had forgotten about the seeding arrangements, probably because I am not wholly in favour of seeding. I can understand that sponsors prefer seeded tournaments which are more likely to lead to, say, a Rangers v Aberdeen or a Celtic v Hearts or, best of all for sponsors, a Celtic v Rangers final rather than a QOS v Partick Thistle final but it is my view that seeded tournaments are designed simply to make "rich" clubs richer. I am not sure what payments are made to quarter finalists, semi-finalists etc (is it right that we get £30k for qualifying?) but, that said, I still think that Hibernian v Queens is a reasonable draw. We have a chance of progressing (although we are certainly going into the game as second favourites) and a reasonable financial return if we don't.
