    Wolves v Reading Matchday Thread

Today is the first home league game under Walter Zenga. Hopefully Wolves can continue where they left off at Rotherham. Wolves so far this season have looked stronger in the second half of games, Rotherham and Crawley.

Whatever happens today Gav I'm not going to get worked up about it because I think the team will look completely different by the start of September.

As you say, the side that takes the field today will no doubt have a different look to it once the transfer window has shut. It's one step at a time for me Steve, there has been a few encouraging signs from the team, but also the same old defensive problems from set-pieces.

As far as I'm concerned our 'back four' has been without a genuine 'organiser' for too long so, therefore, we shouldn't be surprised bycontinuing inadequacies. If our new masters are serious (and I think they are) then, surely, we can hope for radical changes in that regard....and soon !!! The alternative doesn't bear thinking about

Bit of a feeble match day thread this innit!

Just caught up with the game on the E&S site. Seems like we have had most of the game and lead it with a well taken well deserved goal. Good atmosphere in the ground as well apparently. So, Come on mi Babbies, lets have a couple more.

Contrary to my earlier thread it seems that the Wolves defence performed well in this match. I would happily eat my words if I thought this would become the norm rather than the exception, but time will tell. Very pleased with the 2-0 victory today. Reports suggest the lads performed well. I look forward to the comments of Gav' and others who saw the game today. So from Oz, it's goodnight from me....enjoy your celebratory pint !!!

Scoring goals. That's 6 in 3 now regardless of the opposition. Let's keep it up.
