    The usual suspects - That wee ****e McLEAN,That crook Murray, That close-eyed McCann,That master commentator Archie MacPherson,The mercenaries Souness and Butcher and the mother of all sitters by the Rangers german import - they are all there - great viewing - oh wee Hazel Irvine is in there as well !

    Yes, I watched it but what did last night's episode tell us that we didn't already know? It told us that our glory days are behind us; that the dinosaurs who ran Scottish football were content to live in the past, basking in past successes and expecting them to return; that, through a reluctance to accept that Scottish football was no longer a major force in football, clubs lived well beyond their means. This was particularly true of Rangers who were the architects of their own demise; and that the only person with a realistic grasp of what was happening in Scottish football was Fergus McCann who was vilified at the time by the press and Celtic supporters alike for not plunging Celtic down the same precipice to liquidation as Rangers. How prescient he proved to be. It told us that there are none so blind as those who do not want to see and that Scottish football simply doesn't want to see.
