What was 'childish, petty and unprofessional'?
The moaning about how they'd all worked so hard to cut the wage bill and were then sacked - he may have a point, but gates were falling as we were so dull to watch - most thought he'd taken us as far as he could - and when you consider the immediate improvement under Mac, it was the right decision...whatever his feelings, it's completely unprofessional to have a go in public.
The comments about people who didn't know football, etc....In addition, he couldn't resist the little digs "we were building something at Derby, but now it seems to be all about buying something...." - absolutely pathetic....you just don't talk about your previous employers in that way, however badly treated you think you've been....
Add in the pre-match comments about Rush ('the ego has landed') etc and I think in all, childish, petty and unprofessional was being kind...
I didn't see the post-match comments (from him or Pearson) - I was too naffed off about our crap performance to watch any more of the dross....
