Despite all the seemingly common sense responses on this topic querying the wisdom of the possible demise of Pearson I can't help but say I felt a considerable sense of relief to learn that we may not see him directing the team again. Despite all the criticism of the players I have read on this board I have to say that I have seen nothing that leads me to believe that Pearson really had any idea how to resolve the problems we currently have. I wasn't expecting any new manager to bring instant success but I did expect some sign of a fresh, innovative approach. Afraid not - let's see how the next man fares. I live in hope!
